Hearken back to 1958, this historic property was built by the US Government 1958 to house bachelor officers after WWII. Today it is fully remodeled with luxury amenities like heated tile floors in the kitchen and bath to keep your feet toasty warm in the winter, a Toto Washlet toilet, with a heated seat and washing feature to reduce toilet paper use. The house has a large kitchen, laundry room, picture window looking out on the expansive yard, and woodland flower beds under century-old oak trees. All LED lighting and other energy-saving features. The kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, and hallway have newly refinished, original oak floors. Very quiet neighborhood with mature oak trees providing shade all summer long. In the summer, pick fresh vegetables out of the guest garden on the north side. Watch the squirrels and their daily antics while they feed on corn.
Guest Access
Super easy location to find and you can park right in front of the duplex, or your unit has a back car port that you may park in. The street parking is free and you can park right in front, the carport is in the back down the alley between the Oaks
For your own security, check-in instructions will be provided when booked. You will receive an email containing this sensitive information along with any door codes
Cleaning Fee
SalemStays property manager will come in and clean the entire unit, restock the entire unit, wash the linens, and repair or maintain anything that’s on the list for maintenance. This cleaning every two weeks can be set at your convenience, it will be an additional charge to you every two weeks. However, you will not need to restock any of your supplies during your stay!
Cancelation Policy
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
